A very special lunch

There is nothing like catering for a high pressure event and the best way to provide a tasty treat that will impress your guests is to ask 7th Wave Events to cater for you.

We were delighted to be asked to create the perfect Lunch party today here in the New Forest and when the guest list included local food and wine experts such as:

  •  Robin, the owner of the exclusive Lymewood and The Pig chain, a previous MD of The Savoy Hotel
  •  Brigette and Martin Skan, who use to own the Chewton Glen.

So 7th Wave Events were delighted to be able to offer a Canapé starter, pan seared sea bass as well as our amazing fresh and tassty salads as a main and a delicious Eton Mess for dessert, using local seasonal strawberries….  here is a sneak peak from behind the scenes before we served!

Lunch with canapes

Great family lunch function at Compton House in Lymington. Fresh roasted salmon, chicken and pesto with black grape, cous cous with cherry tomatoes and lots of herbs, leafy salad with a honey balsamic dress, mango and fig. For dessert, homemade meringues, summer berries and chantilly cream.

Lunch Catered?

Lovely lunch yesterday for Martin and Brigette Skan, the previous owners of the Chewton Glen. Simple canapés followed by a celeriac remoulade with smoked chicken starter, sweet chilli glazed salmon as a main followed by a light gooseberry fool.

It is lovely to hear from our customers after an event..  Brigette and Martime sent us this lovely message after the event we catered for yesterday… so we thought we would share it with you…

“Dear Michele,
Yesterday was a real triumph! Thank you so much for the wonderful food you cooked and served so professionally. Everyone enjoyed it enormously….and they left at 7.15 pm!!!!
Thank you so so much and we will DEFINITELY call on your wonderful services again next summer.
Martin feels he did not look after you very well regarding the wines!! Naughty, naughty! He seemed to be very concerned about the wines, as our friends are all Vinos and it was hard to keep up with the dispensing!!
Thank you again for your help and for leaving everything so IMMACULATE.”
